Welcome to Teesside & District Society for the Blind

Serving visually impaired people in Stockton, Redcar and Middlesbrough areas.

Our aim is to promote independence for anyone affected by sight loss.

We offer a Social Day Centre - meeting friends, joining in activities, outings, computer training, home visiting and shopping escort service.

A fully equipped Resource Centre, open daily 9am - 3.30pm, equipped with gadgets and aids for visually impaired people, plus a range of information leaflets.

A visitor tries out the latest Access Technology available from Dolphin UK Ltd Low Vision Services helping visitors with advice on Vision Aids Our Open Technology Days held in April and November each year, are always popular and well attended. Visitors are able to try out equipment and obtain information from our various exhibitors.
